When you are Hermes, there is no need for glitzy theatrics, extreme make-up or a parade of 'it' accessories. Such is the power of Hermes that the brand can stage an entire runway show made-up exclusively of wearable classic looks (albeit in rich colors and textures with exquisite detail) and still have the world swooning. A new 'Kelly' inspired messenger bag worn on the hip (see below) is probably the only real innovation of this collection but frankly speaking, who cares? Hermes is not about the kind of 'quick turnover trendiness' that has come to define the rest of the fashion world. Instead, it is reassuringly 'Hermes' and I for one am utterly grateful to them for this. So by all means, go forward and be elegant without succumbing to every trend! It's the Hermes way.
Sincerely,
The Luxe Chronicles
