I think LV was a great brandname designer.

Good point HonorHoney. For me, it comes down to image and association. I suppose it's difficult to feel the same way about your own LV bag once you've seen L'il Kim stumbling out of a limo drunk and disheveled carrying the same bag. This imagery just doesn't do it for me.

Nice write-up. I think that they've become so middle of the road, and this is coming from someone who used to LOVE LV. I gave most of those bags away. Example, on eBay US there's 70 something pages of bag after bag after bag. At this point, I think it's oversaturation in the market and that over saturation has diluted the brand and makes it less appealing for me.
