Wow! Consistently putting trashy "B" List celebrities on your magazine really pays off. Editor in chief of U.S. Harper's Bazaar Glenda Bailey received her Officer of the Order of the British Empire honor from Queen Elizabeth II last week at Buckingham Palace (Source). In fairness, she's hardly alone in pursuing this practice although putting Nicole Ritchie on the cover twice in the span of one year does take the practice to a new low. Also, it should be pointed out that U.S. Harper's Bazaar is one of the few fashion publications to make an effort to educate its readers about the realities of the counterfeit luxury industry with the 'Fakes Are Never In Fashion" campaign. So, if we may be so bold Ms Bailey, could we suggest you give us less of the former and more of the latter? Not all your readers look up to emaciated reality TV stars with rap sheets.
Sincerely,
The Luxe Chronicles
