Coco Chanel once said: "Nothing looks more like a fake jewel than a beautiful jewel. Why get mesmerized by a beautiful stone? One might as well wear a cheque around one's neck." On the whole, I agree with the formidable Mademoiselle opting for character over carats. Yet, I find myself positively mesmerized by Graff's newly unveiled gems, especially the 'Lesotho Promise', a 223.35-carat necklace made up of 26 white D-flawless diamonds including a 603-carat stone discovered in a mine in Lesotho, South Africa just last year. (Source) Je vous prie de m'excuser Mademoiselle - but I simply can't help myself!
Sincerely,
The Luxe Chronicles
