The British Fashion Council (BFC) will hand out its highest honors on November 25 at Lawrence Hall in London. The judging panel will include Nadja Swarovski, vice president of international communications for Swarovski, Lucy Yeomans, editor of U.K. Harper’s Bazaar, model Claudia Schiffer, i-D contributor Lauren Cochrane and Yasmin Sewell, buyer Liberty department store. * The award goes to a stylist, make-up artist, photographer, art director or producer whose creativity has been a major inspiration and influence for the year.
The British Fashion Council Award for Designer of the Year and for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design respectively will be revealed on November 11. No list of nominees was provided for these categories. The 2007 award for Designer of the Year went to Stella McCartney while Dame Vivienne Westwood was honored for her outstanding contribution to British Fashion.
