I haven't had an opportunity to practice my rudimentary Italian in a while so my Italian readers will forgive me if I've inadvertently butchered their enchanting language but I couldn't help myself. The sight of these beautiful, delicate, jewel-encrusted shoes were a sight to behold after the recent carnage on the runways thanks to the absurd shoes that designers keep trying to push on us. I can't think of a better antidote to the clunky, nose-bleed platform shoes that abound. Credit crunch and economic turmoil be damned, I'll take one pair of each! A girl can dream can't she?
