It is precisely this spirit that prompted embroiderers, seamstresses, hair and make-up artists and countless others to donate so generously of their time and craft and other members of the fashion community like Bruno Frisoni, Ines de la Fressange and Diego della Valle to donate shoes - all so that the Lacroix haute couture show could go on. Now, all we need is a white knight with very deep pockets to ride in on his (or her) gleaming horse and save the day. Any takers?
