If fashion is an industry supposedly dominated by women, why are all the leading fashion photographers mostly men? Why do so few women take up the art? Other than Louise Dahl-Wolfe, Regina Relang and Lillian Bassman, I can't off the top of my head name any others. Why is that? My inquiring mind wants to know your thoughts on the matter.
Sincerely,

i dont think its an issue specific to fashion photography - what about photography or film/movies in general?
picture making (like a lot of other fields) is one that is male-dominated - why? could it be that men are naturally visual creatures?
