Well, today is the day I begin my new life in Paris. In actual fact, I will be splitting my time between London and Paris but my primary residence will be in Paris which I believe makes me a proper Parisienne (in heart if not quite in style).
I've loved living in London and before that New York City but Paris has always held a special place in my heart. It is where I began my married life with my lovely husband and it is where my lovely daughter was born. In a strange twist of fate, we found a flat just around the corner from our old place. How freaky is that?
It's not that I'm not nervous. I most definitely am. Starting over in a new city is always jarring even if you know it well and managing a two-city existence is tricky. Fingers crossed it will all work out eventually. Wish me luck (I'll no doubt need it).
