I think I'll just stand still for a little while.
I often hear the expression "change is good for you." While I agree with this sentiment (in principle), I feel strongly that a caveat is required. I would add that change is good for you in a "whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger" kind of way and as far as I'm concerned, I've embraced just about all the change I can take for a while.
As you may have guessed, I'm starting to feel the full effect of my recent move to Paris. It's not that everything isn't going swimmingly. It's going rather well all things considered thanks in part to Sterling International (my fantastic moving company) and A Good Start in Paris (my fantastic team of relocation specialists). It's just that even when everything goes exactly according to plan, the very act of uprooting oneself and starting over somewhere else is really pretty jarring.
I do want to thank you all for your e-mails, comments and Twitter messages! They have buoyed me as I plow throught the mountain of tedious details I need to sort out. As I continue to put the various pieces of my life back together again, I ask you for just a little bit more patience. I will be up and running again very soon but my posts may be a tad sporadic.
Sincerely,
The Luxe Chronicles

Glad to hear the move is (mostly) going well and to have the posts back - I had missed the Manolo article, thanks for the quotes. I also hope you'll post an Instagram of the new clutch.

And of course nothing is QUITE like moving to this place, n'est-ce pas? Sending you lots of good vibes for tackling "l'administration française".
