Just in case you happen to be feeling a tad guilty about your overstuffed dressing room, I came across a recent interview with Azzedine Alaia during which he was asked to describe the ideal closet. His answer should help assuage your guilt:
"A closet stuffed with clothes, even if inexpensive. (...) Because a woman must always have l'embarras du choix."
The French expression l'embarras du choix can best be translated as "an embarrassment of riches". In other words, a girl needs options! And who are we to quibble with the master?
