Paris is virtually empty of Parisians, there is no traffic, no line at the tills and no hastle. My beloved city is rarely this calm and so I plan to savour every second of peace while it lasts.
After the last few months, the very thought of boarding a plane or a train anywhere is tantamount to torture. I want nothing more this holiday season than to hibernate in the comfort of my home surrounded by my little family and a few friends. Wherever you are, I wish you a very merry Christmas filled with laughter and joy.
