Did you know that China is poised to become the world's largest luxury market as early as 2015? It is anticipated that China alone will then account for 75% of the industry's growth. While the numbers are staggering, China remains a tough nut to crack for many Western luxury brands and the Chinese consumer's profile is changing rapidly.
Paris-based l'Association des Professionnels du Luxe along with Ipsos, Boston Consulting Group, Lagardère Global Advertising and BBC World News are hosting a half day conference on February 21, 2013 to examine some of the many challenges faced by Western luxury brands eying expansion in China including the current political and economic climate, changing patterns of consumption and the challenges and potential of e-commerce as a channel of distribution for luxury goods.

Sincerely,
