It's June and that means the Club eLuxe International Summit is finally here. This year's event will take place on Wednesday, June 12 and is entitled "The Web Economy: Understanding How Digital Media is Re-Writing the Rules of Luxury & Transforming Value Creation."
As I've stated in the past, there is always room in my calendar for this full-day event because it is an opportunity to get a tiny glimpse into the future of digital technology as applied to the fine art of luxury marketing. Thanks to the intimacy of the gathering, it is also one of the rare instances where fruitful exchanges take place between speakers and attendees. This time around, I will be speaking on a panel dedicated to social media along with Kate Barnett & Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller and Rohan Deuskar, founder of Stylitics.
Unlike previous years, the event will be taking place at Paris' très chic Hotel Meurice (The Ritz as you know is currently having "a bit of work done"). I hope to see there! For those unable to attend and interested in following the day's proceedings, I will be tweeting throughout the day under the hashtags #eluxe and #luxury (provided I can get a reliable WiFi signal).
